Synopsis

OPERATION ROMAN NOSE! Failure Is Not An Option!

Suddenly an awful realisation hit Hooodinee like a bolt of lightning. 'Oh deary, deary me! she cried in sudden alarm, startling Julian who was just beginning to calm down. 'Today is the 13th of March is it not? Crikey, that's only two days before Julius Caesar gets his...' She hesitated momentarily because she didn't wasn't to alarm the boy any further but decided there was no sugar coating it. 'That means it's getting precariously close to when Julius Caesar gets his comeuppance in the rotunda!'

So begins Operation Roman Nose, a frantic race across the ages to return what belongs to Caesar and rescue what rightfully belongs to Julian before the Ides of March in 44 BC. Along the way the boy and the owl encounter an assortment of eccentric characters, some who threaten to delay their progress. Can they make it on time or will the history of the world be turned on its head and if that happens what would this mean from the choirboy from Chiswick?

À propos de l'auteur

Ross Chadderton is a former policeman and retired history teacher, living in the leafy suburb of Mount Waverley, Australia. He is the author of three innovative textbooks that were designed to make the learning history in upper primary and lower secondary school fun through the use of imaginative stories, original poetry, problem solving exercises and role playing games. These books have been used extensively throughout schools, both public and private in Australia. Operation Roman Nose, written for 12 to 99 year olds is his first novel and is particularly aimed at anyone who would enjoy getting lost in the nonsensical silliness of a quirky and humorous, rollicking adventure that spans the ages. Note: Any resemblance to real characters, living or deceased is entirely intentional although certainly not factual!
