À propos de l'auteur

I grew up in England and moved to Australia in the early 1970s as one of the 'Ten Pound Poms'. Though Brisbane is now home, I've returned to England many times and each time, I make sure I visit a park, a woodland, or a forest. Here in Brisbane, I often walk through New Farm Park, and my favourite path is down Abbott Street, where a majestic row of camphor laurel trees arch overhead. One day, I noticed a pair of workmen's boots sitting at the base of the Grand Tree that stood at the end of Abbott Street. Something about it made me pause. What if a workman had been resting there, eating lunch with his boots off to cool his feet... and then vanished? That moment lit a spark - and the story began.Fuelled by a deep love of nature, music, mystery, and the idea that energy might hold more secrets than we realise, I began writing my debut novel, Abbott Street Adventures: Hide and Seek. What began as a single story, soon grew into a trilogy. Each book can be enjoyed on its own, however the friendships and themes woven through Books Two and Three, deepen the mystery along the way.
