My husband Ben and five children live in a golden brick house with a white picket fence in Toowoomba, 'The Garden City' in Queensland, Australia.I have always contemplated the world through a microscopic lens, often trying to find deeper meaning in what I see and experience. I love peeling back the layers, finding the very presence and love of God in it all, and then putting it to paper. I feel the most like myself when I have a creative project in my mind and at my fingertips. Over the years it has looked like many things-wedding dress designing, a graphic design business specialising in wedding stationery, photography, and designing graphic tee-shirts with biblical meanings. Each creative endeavour has led me to the next.I think though, that the destination was always meant to be here-with the pen in my hand, dreams in my head, and an empty page beckoning me. It is a true gift in this season of growing and establishing my young family to have this opportunity to write. It has become not only a creative project, but a respite amongst the normal rhythms of days at home with my little ones. I am able to tell of the things that I have seen, felt, and experienced. I am able to get alongside others to cheer them on, offer refreshment, encouragement, and a little camaraderie.
