This book should be used along with Teaching Spanish with Comprehensible Input Through Storytelling. Second Year Spanish. Teacher's Book, but it can also be used by itself, by those who want to improve their Spanish skills by reading stories specifically written for Spanish language learners.
It is important to know that when using this book (along with the teacher's book) there is little to no prep work. Everything is well outlined and explained to teach with stories. You will need to supplement with other Comprehensible Input strategies. In this book you will only find the extended readings.
