Gerald Mercer has been an educator in Newfoundland and Labrador for twenty-eight years. He is the author of two previous books for children, Emma's New Game and Emma's Treasure. Gerald lives with his wife, Daphne, and three children, Rebecca, Andrew, and Simeon, in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Holly DeWolf is an illustrator, published author, artist, and blogger. She creates work for the editorial, children's, and stationary markets. She also mentors, promotes the importance of good creative business and illustration advocacy. She currently lives in New Brunswick and illustrates daily, happily!
