À propos des auteurs

Dr. Giulia De Gasperi was born in 1976 in Treviso, Italy, and currently lives in Summerside, PEI. She received a BA (Laurea, 2002) in Foreign Languages and Literatures and a PhD (Dottorato di ricerca, 2007) in Anglo-American and Iberian Studies, both from Ca' Foscari University, Venice, Italy. She is Vice-President of the Association of Italian Canadian Writers (AICW) and Board Member of the Italian Canadian Archives Project (ICAP). She is a literary translator and editor.



Dr. Maria Cristina Seccia is a lecturer in Italian Studies at Bangor University (UK), where she completed a PhD in Translation Studies in 2014. Her doctoral thesis explores the link between the notion of cultural translation and Italian-Canadian literature from a practice-led perspective. It has her own Italian translation of Caterina Edwards' The Lion's Mouth as the main case study.
