Colleen Nelson is a teacher, librarian, and award-winning author of over twenty books for young people. When she's not writing, you can find her walking her dog, Rosie, exploring new places, or enjoying a strong cup of coffee and a good book...maybe at the library. Colleen has lived in New York City and Japan, but currently calls Winnipeg, Canada home.

Peggy Collins is an award-winning children's book author-illustrator with more than 35 titles to her name, including the Blue Spruce Award-winner, Harley the Hero; the ALA Schneider Family Book Award Honor Book, A Sky-Blue Bench; the Mystery at The Biltmore series; and her most recent work, How to Save a Library. She has also written and illustrated for animated apps teaching math, indigenous history, and education. Peggy lives in Napanee, Ontario, with her two children.
