Professionally, Jamie is an economist and university instructor, and holds a graduate degree from the University of Waterloo, ON. Passionately, he is a blogger, speaker and advocate for mental health, spreading the message of hope to those struggling with depression. His latest accolade: author. "A 'Deep Well' Perspective for Healing in Depression" is Jamie's first book which he began writing shortly after being diagnosed with major depressive disorder in 2012.
