If you're like most of our patients - and us! - you've probably tried a LOT of diets and protocols in an effort to be well. Enough, already. Here's why Yin Yang Reset is in a league of its own.

We've seen Chinese food therapy work wonders both at home and in the clinic. Food is our medicine. It's the rock-solid foundation of our well-being, each and every day. But, after slogging through confusing Traditional Chinese Medicine texts and boring food lists, we wondered: does tapping into ancient wisdom have to be so damn complicated?

We didn't think so. As rebellious acupuncturists, we decided to shake up our industry by going DIY with TCM. So, we rolled up our sleeves and created Yin Yang Reset, our 21st-century update of ancient Chinese food therapy designed to bring an imbalanced body back into balance.

We created a simple diagnostic quiz and five DIY programs that use short-term food therapy you can easily apply in your very own kitchen, using everyday ingredients. Our goal was to get you up dancing again.

Sara Ward, R.Ac, is a dedicated hockey mom living in Vancouver with her husband and son. She is a multipassionate entrepreneur, author, acupuncturist, and founder of The Village Community clinic. During a health scare in her early twenties, when she was diagnosed with celiac disease, Sara fell deeply in love with using food as medicine. In her clinical practice, Sara's go to for everything is gut health. Every day at home, she practices what she preaches in the kitchen.

Tara Akuna, R.Ac, is a mother, entrepreneur, author, and acupuncturist living with her partner and children near Toronto, Canada. As a child, Tara watched her grandmother heal her breast cancer with a macrobiotic diet. She wished for bologna sandwiches and fruit gummies in her school lunches, but she's grateful she got miso soup, brown rice, and veggies instead. Today, kitchen medicine is the foundation of Tara's clinical practice as an acupuncturist.
