À propos de l?auteur

Stuart Clayton has been working as a professional musician for over ten years. He has been writing for the UK's Bass Guitar Magazine since its first issue, and has interviewed bassists such as Stuart Hamm, Mark King, and Alain Caron. He has written seven instructional books for Sanctuary Publishing and Music Sales, including '100 Tips for Bass Guitar You Should Have Been Told', 'Giants of Bass' and 'Bass Styles'. As a bass player he has toured all over the world with legendary drummer Carl Palmer, and currently works as the Head of Bass at BIMM Bristol (Brighton Institute of Modern Music). He is also the bass technical specialist for Rockschool for whom he has written and recorded many exam pieces. He also contributed a composition for the new syllabus, a Grade 7 piece entitled 'Thumb King', written in the style of Mark King. Stuart also runs Bassline Publishing, a small company who specialise in bass guitar tuition and transcription books. He has published transcription books on artists such as Level42, Chic, Sister Sledge, The Who, The Brand New Heavies, and Kiss. Stuart uses and endorses Zon bass guitars, and TC Electronic amplification.
