For a number of years he was a fixture in the pit lanes at every race in the World Championship. As well as his magazine work, he has written and edited many best-selling Formula One books including The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Formula One, The Treasures of Formula One, the BBC Sport Grand Prix Guide and 60 Years of the F1 World Championship, Grand Prix: Yesterday & Today and Lewis Hamilton: The People's Champion. He lives in Wiltshire.
