Before becoming one of the all-time greats of the comicbook world, artist Nick Cardy fought in World War II and he took his sketchbook with him. Nick Cardy, now in his 90s, is one of the all-time greats of the comicbook world. He drew countless pages and covers for DC Comics, and was inducted into the Will Eisner Awards Hall of Fame in 2005.
