Jackie moved from primary teaching into secondary as an English teacher and later became Headteacher of Campion School in Northamptonshire. As one of the first Advanced Skills Teachers leading and implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies nationwide, she was awarded the OBE in November 2002 for services to education. Since 2006 she has trained many teachers and school leaders in the latest strategies for learning and developing emotionally intelligent leadership. Jackie is also a qualified Neuro-linguistic Master Practitioner and has written and edited many articles and books.
