A few chapters on robotics have been included in the book to introduce the reader to the use of robotics in computer aided manufacture.

P Radhakrishnan is presently a Director of PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Earlier, he has been serving in the PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. Then onwards, he was Vice-Chancellor of VIT University, Vellore, India during 2002-2007. He has several years of experience in teaching Computer Numerical Control apart from involvement in design, manufacture and quality control of CNC Machines.
