The Pink Ribbon Path stems from Mary Redmond Usshers own journey with breast cancer. It is a path of the heart, where the cry of the heart is heard and one which celebrates the quiet miracle of the ordinary. This is an updated version of her book, published in her memory following her death in 2015. It includes Mary s original writing and new testimonies from many of the people whose lives she touched and inspired, including broadcaster Miriam O Callaghan and former president, Mary McAleese. The Pink Ribbon Path is an invitation for people living with an illness, amid the whirlwind of medical activity, to find inner wholeness. Filled with original prayers and reflections, as well as extracts from a wide range of sources, it is a spiritual path for healing and hope which once embarked upon becomes a daily joy that goes beyond the limitations of the body.
