Synopsis

In 1943, a close friendship develops between two families in wartime North Devon, one renting a small, terraced house in Barnstaple and the other living on a rented smallholding in the country. À propos de l'auteur

After attending Barnstaple Girls' Grammar School, the author studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and had a long career in music teaching, primarily in North Devon. She has written plays and songs, a religious Cantata and pantomimes.She is married to Leslie and they have two children and seven grandchildren.
