Alice Birch is a British playwright and screenwriter. Her previous work includes Peckham: The Soap Opera and Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again (RSC). Other credits include: We Want You To Watch (National), The Lone Pine Club (Pentabus), Little Light (Orange Tree), Little on the Inside (Almeida / Clean Break), Salt (Comedie de Valence), Many Moons (Theatre 503), Flying the Nest (BBC Radio 4) and Lady Macbeth (BBC Films / BFI / Creative England). Alice was the co-winner of the 2014 George Devine Award for Revolt. She said. Revolt Again and winner of the Arts Foundation Award for Playwriting 2014.

Timberlake Wertenbaker is herself an eminent playwright. In 1985 The Royal Court staged her 'The Grace of Mary Traverse' which won her the Plays and Players Most Promising Playwright Award. She also received the 1988 Olivier Award for Play of the Year for 'Our Country's Good'.

E.V. Crowe's most recent play Virgin played at the Watford Palace Theatre. Her other plays include Liar, Liar (Unicorn Theatre), Hero and Kin (Royal Court Theatre), for which E. V Crowe was shortlisted for the Most Promising Playwright at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards.

Abi Zakarian is the author of six full-length plays including A Thousand Yards and Swifter, Higher, Stronger; she is one of the playwrights-in-residence for the Schoolwrights scheme in East London.
