Music producer, composer, director, filmmaker, writer, & creative visionary-that's Jiwann "Wann D." Raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Wann D developed a passion for music at a young age that has continued throughout his adult life. He began his musical journey by taking piano lessons at the NC School of the Arts. While there, Wann D studied Ear Composition training. He learned how to compose and turn his own chords and melodies into well-crafted songs. As a member of his church's sound ministry, Wann D learned the technical aspects of music recording such as reverb, vocal mixing, and sound dynamics. He fused his knowledge of musical composition with sound recording and became a music producer. In 2005, Wann D left NC to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. While there he majored in marketing in hopes to use his creative skills in business. By 2008, Wann D and his then-girlfriend, Shade', created a music production company called VisionFuel Entertainment. They released a few projects under their company between 2012 and 2015. In 2016, Wann D decided to leave the corporate world for full-time entrepreneurship. At this time, Wann D and Shade' (wife) decided to turn their indie label into a full-service creative content agency. Since 2016, VisionFuel has helped more than 100 entrepreneurs, artists, and small businesses fuel their visions. Out of necessity to complete a creative project, Wann D decided to pick up a camera and start shooting videos. This act ignited a new fire for the art of film, cinematography, and visual storytelling. Now, a budding filmmaker, Wann D fuses his music skills with directing, writing, & creating content for his clients.
