Tremper Longman III is the Robert H. Gundry Professor of Biblical Studies, Westmont College, Santa Barbara, USA. He is the author or co-author of numerous books, including 'Introducing the Old Testament', 'A Biblical History of Israel',' How to Read Psalms', and commentaries on the Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Proverbs, Jeremiah & Lamentations, Daniel and Job
