They lie behind our justice system and, in Christian society, form an outline of what God requires of mankind. Brian Sherring was born in Isleworth, Middlesex, England in 1932. Following a technical education, he took an engineering apprenticeship and worked for some years as a design draughts-man in agricultural engineering. He was one time Assistant Prin-cipal of The Chapel of the Opened Book in London and wrote regular articles for The Berean Expositor and several booklets. He then spent some 25 years in the food import business and worked with farm animals at weekends as a hobby. He now lives with his wife in retirement in Surrey. He has written three other major books, Paul s Letter to the Ro-mans: Background & Introduction ... The Mystery of Ephesians ... and Messiah and His people.
