Synopsis
One bright day, Speckledy Hen decides to leave the farmyard and find a home of her own. But it's not long until Fox finds her there. Can Little Grey Rabbit and her friends create the perfect diversion to help the hen and her chicks escape? À propos des auteurs
Alison Uttley said of her characters, "Why do I love them? Because I believe in them." She grew up at Castle Top Farm in Derbyshire, UK, and her passion for the countryside comes across vividly in her timeless Little Grey Rabbit stories.
(1892-1982) illustrated these classic tales with such vitality that the characters come to life with warmth and wit. Her partnership with Alison Uttley lasted for forty years.
