I like acting because I can escape and be a different character and it helps me build confidence because I'm a nervous person. The book will get other people involved in drama. They might buy the book as well and it will help them. Suzanne, Actor The Baked Bean Theatre Company --http://booksbeyondwords.co.uk/drama-group-press
It's easy for people to understand [The Drama Group book] because it's not got words. Some people can't read so pictures are simpler. I enjoy it because I like drama. Claudia, Actor The Baked Bean Theatre Company --http://booksbeyondwords.co.uk/drama-group-press
The Baked Bean Company and I wrote the following play working very closely with the pictures from the book The Drama Group. Using the original pictures as a storyboard was not only helpful but inspiring, and a great reminder to the actors of the story we were trying to tell and where we were in it at any given point. Do not be afraid to experiment and go with what feels right to the company then you will doubtless produce the group s best and most meaningful work. Break a leg! Jade Hardrade-Grosz, Co-founder of the Baked Bean Theatre Company, Director of The Drama Group play and author of Beyond Words Drama Handbook --http://booksbeyondwords.co.uk/drama-group-press
