Synopsis
Quirky, sarky newcomer to Fartlebury Magna, Katie Miller, tries to lead the parish council into the 21st century and civilisation. But the locals aren't civil, let alone civilised, and the only thing being cultivated is their own interests. The discovery of pornography on the council's computer is just the start of a decline in morals which drags Katie into deep shit and sharp wit and the parish council website disclaimer hides an unpleasant secret. Unjustly accused, completely bemused and thirsting for justice, Katie finds a friend on the holiday of a lifetime.
