Surf trips have taken him throughout Europe and the Canaries, the USA, Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, Indonesia and Australia, and his experience spans competitive surfing, surf exploration, board manufacture, surf film, the retail industry and surf rescue instruction.
