Jackie Plenderleith has collaborated with Tom Maxwell to write his story. Tom is author of <I>The Fabulous Baker Boys: the Greatest Strikers Scotland Never Had </I>(the biography of Joe and Gerry Baker) and <I>The Lone Rangers: An English Club's Century in Scottish Football, </I>described by <I>Backpass </I>as 'a strong contender for football book of the year'. He has written for many publications, including <I>The Times, Daily Record, The Herald </I>and <I>The Scotsman</I>.
