Author Eylem Tok lives in Istanbul, has published two novels to date and is currently working on a third. She has earned critical acclaim with her ability to confront the reader with taboos, fears both familiar and unfamiliar, and her distinctive style. Her children's and young adults' fiction, distinctive and entertaining tales of misfortune, appeal for a return to common sense. Eylem Tok names her son as her one and only muse. The Giant and the Three Dwarves is her first title to be published in English. Designer and illustrator Marcus Silversides lives in Hertfordshire and has previously created and produced, amongst other things, advertising campaigns, film posters, children's books and even an app. He currently runs his own advertising and design agency in London. Translator Feyza Howell lives in Berkshire; originally a graphic designer, she has worked in design, advertising, TV production, marketing, product management and international business development, and throughout this time she has always written and translated.
