Claude was born in 1926 – the same year as the Queen. He released his first book, Once a Man, Twice a Boy in 2014 and the first 800 copies rapidly sold out. Over £500 was raised for two local churches from sales of the book. Claude's readers are clamouring for another book – and here it is! During the writing of this second book, sadly Claude lost his wife of 60 years and in December 2015 faced a second major operation. Claude is not as active as he was (not surprising at 90!) – but his mind is still all there and the stories keep coming!
