PETER BENTLY is married with two children, and lives in Totnes, Devon. He studied languages at Oxford University. He has been penning children books since the birth of his first child, and has written over 40 titles, one of which - Cats Ahoyl - led to him being awarded the Roald Dahl Funny Prize 2011.

Mandy Archer is an experienced writer and consultant for the children's book publishing industry. Pre-school development is one of her areas of expertise. She was formerly Creative Head of Children's Books at BBC Worldwide.

Catherine Veitch trained as an infant primary teacher before working as an editor and writer for twenty years in children's magazines and books. Today, when she's not walking her Sheltie dog, Arthur, Catherine enjoys writing and creating content for children's story, puzzle, activity and early learning books.

Martha Lightfoot's first illustrations were inspired by a job designing children's fancy dress costumes. Her quirky, humorous illustrations bring her characters to life in an engaging way.
