She is the founder of the award-winning sewing pattern company Tilly and the Buttons, known for its gorgeous designs, crystal-clear instructions and encouraging approach to dressmaking. Her blog of the same name has been read over 12 million times by nearly 3 million people around the world. Her first book, Love at First Stitch, has been published in nine international editions and was named ‘Best Book’ at the British Sewing Awards 2014. Tilly appeared on the first series of BBC2’s The Great British Sewing Bee, and was named 'Favourite Sewing Personality' in the British Sewing Awards the last two years in a row.
