Dr Bruce Kirchoff is a Professor of Biology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). He has won the UNC Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Charles Edwin Bessey Teaching Award from the Botanical Society of America, and the Innovations in Plant Systematics Education Prize from the American Society of Plant Taxonomists. He studied scientific communication at the Alan Alda Center, storytelling with North Carolina storyteller Louise Kessel, and is a member of the Soylent Greensboro improv group.<br /><br />Jon Wagner works for the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District (EMSWCD) in to find and remove noxious and invasive weeds. In his spare time, Jon works as an artist and cartoonist. He was 2018 EMSWCD employee of the year and has received special recognition from the Oregon Department of Agriculture for his conservation illustration projects. His illustrations can be seen on signs at the Oregon Zoo, Olympic National Park and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, among other parks and natural areas. He has a Master's Certificate in Science Illustration from the University of California Santa Cruz.
