Alberto's mental state becomes erratic and disrupts his happy family and the practice. He receives visits from the dead, causes others to hallucinate, and experiences temporal psychosis. After a trip to Hell where he and his family receive death threats, Alberto resolves to settle the past with revenge in the present, thus leading to a suspense filled and surprise ending.
