Synopsis

One day, in a world where Neanderthals are the dominant species, the primitive dwelling of a young, healthy, green-eyed Sapient, farm-labouring slave, by the name of Little Wolf, is destroyed on the startling arrival of a gigantic stone phallus. Luckily, Little Wolf was out, sleeping with a girlfriend at the time, and so survived the disaster, but is expelled from the village for his improper conduct. Three weeks later, what appears to be his identical twin, Albert Frinton, sales representative of a high-tech-appliances company from a parallel Universe, emerges from the stone, now being worshiped by Little Wolf’s fellow farm-workers, as a gift from the Gods. The consequences of this are far too complex to summarise, but Albert’s saucily attractive wife, Bren; her cat, Symbaline; her brother, Cedric; plus two other Little Wolf look-alikes, Lieutenant Kurt Marcel and Cambridge graduate Jonathan Purman, each from a separate parallel Universe, add spice to the already farcical situation. Professor Tengri, from the original pre-parallels Universe, would love to help, but his hands are tied.
