Synopsis
In the second book of the series, Connor & The Chronicles of Altan, Connor returns to the Academy after his traumatic experience in the woods. Nothing is the same. The other students point and whisper at him – the boy who was attacked in the woods, the boy with the secrets. Connor is devastated to be abandoned by his classmates again, just like when his father died four years earlier, but must carry on in order to survive the grueling challenges in the Academy. Only Connor’s teammates on Team Alpha 119 do not leave his side. Together, they compete in the Great Academy Games, competitions of intellect, strategy, and athletic prowess. For the school graduation exam, everyone must survive the night in the woods alone, without any food, tools, or clothing. Shivering under a pile of leaves in the night, Connor is called through a cave and finds himself back in the strange world. Can he survive a second journey to the dark world and return home?
