Synopsis

The Book of Jasher is referenced by God in the Holy Bible according to Joshua 10:13, 2 Samuel 1:18, and 2 Timothy 3:8. Jasher is a parallel account of the Biblical timespan from Genesis to the start of the Book of Judges. It fills in gaps and provides fascinating details while upholding the Biblical record. The Book of Jasher is an emotionally responsible narrative and helps make the men and women of the Bible more relatable and empathetic. Jasher also makes the Biblical events and situations more comprehensible. It is a fun book to read. This edition has been carefully and lovingly edited by Alan Lewis Silva. It is a large print edition, and it is organized according to the book's chapters in prose form instead of numbered verses. In a few places the translation of select words has been improved for accuracy.
