The violently deranged are massacring innocent people anywhere and everywhere throughout America with impunity. The rampant gun violence cascading across America must be stopped. Children must be safe in their schools, homes, and churches and just walking on the street. The proliferation of rapid firing weapons, augmented with monstrously designed Frankenstein ammunition, is appalling. Can we reason together to find rational solutions to bring sanity back to America? Demagogues and their fanatic paranoid followers fervently attack every attempt to resolve the problem. They contend; every viable solution is an attack upon the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. This book sets forth solutions, which will resolve the problem without any impact on the Second Amendment. The benefits derived from new guns and ammunition standards are achievable.In the early 1990s, when I twice ran for Congress in Orange County, California, a main themes of mine was gun safety and security. I espoused creating Individual Trigger Unlocking technology, preventing a gun from being fired until an authorized fingerprint unlocks the trigger. Another was mandatory use of external Trigger Locks on all firearms, which do not have that technology. Mandatory Trigger locks are now the law. Individual Trigger Unlocking technology has been available for a couple of decades. Though, the firearms are not sold in America. I address that issue. Mandatory changes are need. We must reduce the ability of a firearm to inflect mass casualties and catastrophic injuries. This will remove the attraction of firearms, as the weapon of choice, for inflecting mass carnage. Much of the technology is really available. The development new technologies is also addressed.Together we can make a difference!
