Synopsis

Eddie Jr. and Mindy along with many of their Best Friends are involved with thousands of others who are willing to sacrifice to help wipe out Breast Cancer. Friday is a great day for us. Mindy and many of the other young girls have cried much of the time we have walked. Not because of the pain from the walking. They are touched by the stories of faith and courage that so many of the walkers have told us. Many of our friends from school and some of the people we have met from competing against other schools have relatives that either have those uplifting stories of survival or have been victims of the illness. They are all determined to see this walk through to the end no matter how much it hurts. By about the halfway point on Friday many of the people are concerned that they may not be able to finish because of the large blisters and the extremely sore muscles that everyone has at this point. Mindy and I are talking with our friends and family and we comment that something is different today than the other days. Just as we mention that we hear a song coming from a little farther back in the huge line of humanity that we are part of. We realize that it’s the singing that we are missing, so we join in as many more voices begin to fill the air. Like magic the pain in our bodies is gone and it seems like we could walk like this forever. Join Eddie, Mindy, and their family and friends as they learn how devastating breast cancer is for far too many people.
