Synopsis

This book is a recount of my educational experiences while working at a middle school. I had been appointed to design an educational trip for an end-of-the-year student incentive. As a result of handling the trip, I was not renewed for employment for the next school term and had to find other employment. I had to really trust God to get me through the process of having to leave my current position of seven years and find another job to care for my children and household expenses as a single parent. The level of depression that I experienced was so debilitating that I thought I would die. This is my story.

I am a native of the most southern city of Georgia before entering into Florida. I have lived there my entire life. I am a wife to a wonderful husband and mother to two handsome men. I am one of five children. Both of my parents died before I graduated high school. I was raised by mom's youngest brother and his wife. I graduated from Valdosta High School, and I am a Wildcat for life. After high school, I attended Valdosta State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education. I went on to earn a master's degree in Educational Leadership, a Educational Specialist in Curriculum, Instructional. Management, in Administration. I also earned a Education Doctorate Degree in Leading Organizations. I am a retired educator due to a disability. I was an active educator for 23 years and love helping others.
