Do you want to write better poetry? Do you want to be a more creative author?
There are many challenges for the poet and writer.
One of them is the initial act of getting started – the struggle to get those first few words down.
Another is the question of what to write about. An author needs an idea, an image or something to get excited about and make writing worthwhile.
There there is the poet's need for a creative focus that adds an intensity or a sparkle to your words that comes from your truest voice.
This book shares with you twenty-one techniques to help you meet the challenges of creating your next poem or other creative writing. These methods will help your creative engines roar.
Each chapter introduces and describes a new technique to help take your poetry to a new level. Additionally, several blank, lined pages have been added after each chapter to aid you in writing in the moment.
About the author: Carl Scott Harker sold his first poem in the mid-1970's and has not looked back. He has done a variety of poetry readings in different formats, written and performed on the radio and on stage, and published a weekly newspaper for several years.
He currently lives in a small coastal town in Southern Oregon where, when he is not writing, he runs a small photography publishing business.
The author's most recent book of original poetry is "Poems by My Cat" and is available on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Poems-Cat-Carl-Scott-Harker-ebook/dp/B07M7TFT8L
