À propos de l'auteur

Veronica Bennetts is a musician, teacher and writer whose career spans composing, writing, directing and teaching. Studying Music, English Literature and Education at Cambridge, she also holds a Master of Education degree from Liverpool University. One of her particular loves has been seeking to provide creative opportunities for young people in order to stimulate them to express themselves imaginatively. She has written and compiled many performing arts works (music, story and lyrics) and until recently has been Director of Education for Performance Arts for an international Theatre Arts franchise. She is deeply interested in children who have been damaged or who struggle from the impact of early life events. Whilst undertaking some training with the NSPCC she learnt more about the tenacity and courage that characterise many of these youngsters. The insights gained have led indirectly to the writing of her debut novel Twisted Threads and the subsequent two novels in the trilogy Love's Tangled Tapestry. Veronica has four grown up children, lots of grandchildren, and very importantly, two golden retriever dogs. Her late husband was the Bishop of Coventry. She now lives in Chertsey and devotes as many hours as she can to her passion for writing.
