1970. La saison de Formule 1 va démarrer, et Jean-Pierre Vaillant dévoile aux deux pilotes de l'écurie Vaillante – son frère Michel et Steve Warson – son nouveau prototype. Il compte bien sur les innovations radicales de celui-ci pour donner une chance à Vaillante de l'emporter face à une concurrence redoutablement forte. Mais la saison 1970 va se révéler effroyable, et la course effrénée à la performance meurtrière, amenant les pilotes à militer pour une réforme de fond des règles de sécurité des circuits ...

À propos de l?auteur
Belgian author Denis Lapière started in the business as a manager of a comic book shop, before moving on to script writing. Notable among the 50 or so series and one-shots in his portfolio are Alice et Leopold, Charly, the new adventures of Tif et Tondu and the new season of Michel Vaillant. A Frenchman born in Greece, Vincent Dutreuil participated in several collective bandes dessinées exhibitions in France and Belgium, and illustrated several series before joining the Michel Vaillant team.
