Synopsis

On a school trip to the National Art Gallery Jacob learns about the artist Claude Monet. These were his favourite days because for him life was far from exciting. His life is about to take an unexpected turn on his vacation to visit his grandfather at Iris House. Jacob encounters an old lady in a busy marketplace who presents him with a mysterious box. As Jacob opens the box he is faced with entering into the unknown twilight world. He is entrusted in the daunting task of finding the Monet painting whilst confronting the forces of evil. With the help of his new friend Oliver, they embark on an epic journey that leads them back to eighteenth century Europe armed with powers to help them on their quest. Will Jacob overcome his challenges and fears to be heroic in finding the Missing Monet!

J. M. has travelled to many cities and has been inspired by studying beautiful art in famous art galleries throughout the world. Her interest in both reading and art inspired her to use her creativity to write her own children's book. She wanted to share her talents with younger readers so that they too could be inspired through art and go on to develop their own creativity.
