Gecko Keck (real name: Gerhard Wörner) is a German artist, designer and author. After graduating from high school, Keck worked as a freelance illustrator and caricaturist for various newspapers, then as a graphic designer, illustrator and comic artist. During this time he developed his own magazine concepts and took part in various exhibitions in the Stuttgart area. In 1993 he took the leap into self-employment and started working as a freelance artist and designer.
In 1996, Keck began designing Kinder Surprise egg toys for the Italian confectionery manufacturer FERRERO, making a total of over 5,000 drawings and 300 models. In the same year, he opened his own art gallery, featuring with paintings and sculptures; and in 2005, he founded the Kieselsteiner publishing company.
