Synopsis

‘I will openly admit that I have travelled five miles in the car to buy a huge bar of chocolate, only to have eaten all of it by the time I got home.’ - The author
If you are completely honest, do you know why you are overweight? It’s a little-known fact, but the stories we tell ourselves about why we are overweight have a direct impact on whether we are successful when we want to lose weight.
Peter Bull struggled with his weight for years, and wondered why no diet plan he tried ever worked. When he qualified as a psychotherapist, he began to examine the deeper, subconscious reasons for his problematic relationship with food, and only then did he start to lose weight and, much to his astonishment, he never put it back on again.
This short book is the result of both his research and his personal experience, and contains such practical, simple techniques - techniques that work for our overweight children too - that you’ll never be lured into another unsuccessful diet plan again. He wishes you the very best as you get in touch with your slimmer self.
Peter received an MBE from the Queen in 1996.
