Synopsis

We sit and map the future but something unexpected may change all our plans.

A poor farmer with little college education was thinking of retiring. That day came and he had to work on his farm.

A rich chief of a large company planned his retirement. He could start a consulting firm to advise young starters. That did not materialise. His dodgy past caught up with him. He could never imagine going to consult a very poor farmer.

Senior in academic circles, a professor decided to retire. He thought of writing books and papers to maintain his fame. However, that did not happen. His past, considered unholy, forced him into solitude. He could not imagine seeking solace from a poor farmer.

What could be so strange as to bring these three strangers together and keep them talking for thirty years?

The energy to continue was due to the strange happenings on that One Day of Moonshine.
