À propos de l'auteur

Barbara Nugent is a former paediatric MRI and CT Superintendent Radiographer and was an MRI safety project lead for NHS National Education for Scotland. She is a visiting lecturer at City, University of London, and founder of MRI Safety Matters®. Barbara’s main aim is to promote MRI safety education, campaigning for MRI staff to be provided with at least a recognised minimum standard of MRI safety knowledge. MRI Safety Matters® runs MRI safety and innovation conferences and has twice hosted the ABMRS to administer UK-modified MRI safety exams (MRSO, MRMD and MRSE), leading to the first cohorts of ABMRS MRSCTM MRI Safety credentialled Radiographers, Radiologists, Physicists and Clinical Scientists in Europe. As part of a UK multi-professional working group, Barbara has also been instrumental in developing a program of national e-learning modules for the workforce.
