Melissa Grain, 45, is an American author, cook and nutritionist. As a child, her favorite room was the kitchen, and her love for food and cooking increased when she became a teenager. After high school, she pursued an education in Nutrition and bagged a college degree. It was while she was in college that Melissa turned her passion into a career as she started focusing on both the physical and mental essence of nutrition. A mother of three, she has spent a large part of her life caring for her family and preparing meals that offer optimal health benefits to both clients and loved ones. More than just quenching hunger, Melissa considers food as an integral part of nature and recognizes its role in creating a positive personality. Melissa's objective is to help the world attain a healthy nutrition lifestyle and assist people who desire to feel good mentally, physically, and in perfect harmony with their bodies. Her mission is to continue to contribute her skill, knowledge, and talents towards the wellness of the human Body and Brain. Through her immense experience, Melissa has identified plant-based diets as the most efficient way to achieve an excellent nutritional plan for the body. She continues to educate people to adopt plant-based nutrition in order to stay healthy, get in perfect shape, and lose weight, when necessary. Melissa is also a sport, yoga and meditation enthusiast, an avid reader with interest in human health, and an advocate of environmental sustainability in the face of climate change. A Plant-Based Diet Cookbook is her second book.
