David Long is a writer and journalist who has written many adult and children's books on topics such as London, popular science and the environment. His book Survivors (Faber & Faber) won the Blue Peter Book Award 2017.
Lou Baker Smith is a freelance illustrator and designer, working in book publishing and packaging design. Her work is diverse in subject matter and technique, the common thread that runs through it is a love of colour, textures and layers.
