Synopsis

Appalled by British politics? Ashamed of the pitiful state of our democracy? Tired of endless blathering nonsense aimed at a media scrum by the most recent cabinet member? What would you say to the odd decision or two being made round here? Look no further. Uncle Dic is here to fix it all; possibly. All you must do is decline to vote and Britain gets a ten-year stint from your very own Avuncular Dictator. No more deliberating, no more mincing of words. You may not like it all but at least something will get done. Uncle Dic proposes a series of radical reforms to calm some souls and infuriate others. Perhaps he has the answers, perhaps he doesn't, but by the time the nation has been consumed by apathy and not voted it will be too late... Or maybe it will be a new dawn...

À propos de l?auteur

Uncle Dic is not one person, but many. He is the collective voice of us all as we try to make sense of the nonsense we are dribbled from the mouths of our politicians and the medium of our media. Uncle Dic is avuncular yet forthright. Like the favoured and delightful Uncle we all deserve, he tells the truth - but as he sees it. He is frustrated by politics getting in the way of the decisions we need to take to keep Britain firing on all cylinders. Perhaps he has a message for the wider world.
