A chronicle of Ethan and Harry as their love continues and burgeons along with their complement of 'frogs'! They do recognize however, that they will have to part when Harry eventually returns to Edinburgh. But first, an eventful academic year ends with their ever-generous parents sending them on an unforgettable trip to Canada and Scotland. Ethan leaves his home State and the States for the very first time full of trepidation but, with Harry holding his hand both literally and metaphorically, he has an incredible time gathering even more 'frogs' to kiss! The front cover symbols are (left) the State of Massachusetts and (right) the MacInnes clan badge.

Another year has passed, and the author is now seventy-seven. He still regrets the lack of courage that prevailed in his teenage years some sixty years ago when he did not take advantage of the few opportunities that came his way to do or be anything, as is described within the following pages. As the Covid lockdown continued and was gradually relaxed along with all the restrictions, it became impossible to leave the characters of Ethan and Harry, as they had come to totally dominate the author's thinking hours, deciding what would and could happen next. This sequel to Kissing Frogs tells what did happen next! In the author's real-life, the major change is that his feline alarm clock, Decimus, the tenth, last and longest-lived cat in almost fifty cat-owning years (though there were usually at least two at any point), had regrettably to be euthanised at the end of September 2022, on the eve of his nineteenth birthday. However, the author still gets up at four thirty a.m. Monday through Friday to go for a swim at the London Central YMCA!
