Synopsis

Leann Peterson lost her parents in a car crash the day before her seventh birthday. Her grandparents in Devon raised her. At seventeen she moved to London and studies Psychology, whereupon she meets Chris Peterson whom she later marries. Years later after divorcing her husband, Leann meets the love of her life, Paul Mayling who is the total opposite of her ex-husband Chris Peterson. Chris and his friend James kidnap the pair of them. Paul discovers during the ordeal that Leann was a victim of domestic violence throughout her marriage to Chris. All Paul ever knew about their marriage was that Chris had served in the armed forces. Paul and Leann manage to escape. Leann finds Danny, an old college friend who has been beaten up and tied up in another room. Leann insists that Paul helps her untie him and take him with them. Their escape is thwarted by Chris's return. Chris wants payback for a deal he had set up several years ago and believes Leann mucked up for him. Leann had no idea what was supposed to happen that night in question. Chris uses this as an excuse as he really wants Leann back. Chris subjects Leann to a torturous time. For several years Leann has managed to keep a very big secret from Chris in fact everyone, she had no choice but to tell Chris what she gave away all those years ago, their baby son Steven. Chris carries out a double payback on her for keeping his son a secret from him for so long. Chris goes to his villa in Spain until the coast is clear back home. Chris's original payback has now moved on a step further.

She has done various jobs over the years, including being a PA, helping out many volunteering roles, such as looking after cats. She was a foster carer for seventeen years and a retail worker in a supermarket.
